A couple of days ago on my personal blog, I received a well-meaning comment from Ms. Melissa regarding the appearance of KimKomm.com. As a professional who sources for speakers from the world wide web, Ms. Melissa had this to say about KimKomm.com, it didn’t look “professional” enough and that Kim Kommunications may or could have lost potential businesses due to the presentation of this website.
I whole heartedly agree with Ms. Melissa. As a matter of fact, I had been concerned with the overall look and feel of this website but had been unable to do much about it. Yes, the unfortunate “time contraints”….cliched but true.
So, I have had the site revamped again. Hopefully for the final time, fingers crossed. The changes are:
- 1. The logo’s typeface has been changed to lean towards a web 2.0 look.
- 2. Kim Kommunications now has a graphical logo! Besides symbolising an “opened window” to all things fabulous, if you looked closely, you can even see the two Ks representing KimKomm. On why the “opened window” is not straight, it is intentional. An opened window doesn’t have to be straight or square to be practical. Bottomline is, we may be pragmatists but we make functional fun.
- 3. The colour of fonts, background and hyperlinks have been tweaked to blend in harmoniously with each other.

KimKomm v2.0

I would like to wish Ms. Kim Ong, my former partner and comrade in crime all the best in her future ventures. KimKomm may have lost an articulate, intelligent, talented and immensely beautiful woman but the world outside gains another. I am positive that greatness will follow Kim whenever she goes.
This site has gotten a minor revamp. Mostly information update and some tweaking. I have updated the KimKomm’s CREDENTIAL with the latest list of KimKomm’s clients which include Radiant Investments Ltd., Nuffnang Sdn. Bhd. and F&N.
Currently, I am also personally involved with the publicity campaign of MidZone Countdown 2008. It’s a countdown party to usher in the Year of the Rat that will be held on the 31st December 2007 at The Boulevard, Mid Valley City. While this project is unrelated to KimKomm (I’m doing it in my capacity as a communications consultant, together with another PR consultant), it’s very dear to my heart as I got to see with my very own eyes, the buzz and publicity generated by my beloved friends cum bloggers and various websites.
MidZone Countdown 2008 is set to be the biggest countdown party of the decade in Malaysia and I’m proud to be part of it.
